Hoedspruit
This small town is both a railway and road junction and is a convenient place for a brief stop before heading to the Kruger National Park or private game reserves. It is only 7kms to the turn off to the private game areas of Klaserie and Timbavati. Both these sectors consist of blocks of farms each owned by individuals or companies. Very few fences divide the estates and most have open access to Kruger enabling the wild animals to move freely across large areas.
